The Cotton Tree Children’s Trust was founded in 2006 by Rosemary Bidwell, after a visit to Sierra Leone in 2002. It was seeing the plight of the child mothers and their babies left to survive on the streets after the war that moved her to start the charity. We are currently supporting eight young people who are studying variety of subjects including nursing, tailoring and catering.
